Whistles

   The technology of making clay toys and the preparation of the clay is similar in different regions, but sometimes the process has local features. Red, gray and white clay was mixed with fine sand and diluted with water to get a viscous mass that was shaped into traditional forms. Toys were dried in the open air, and after some days they were fired in the oven or kiln.
